Application:
Almost 90% of all metal is consumed in the ferrous metallurgy. In the form of ferromanganese-an alloy with iron, it is added to steel to increasing its malleability, strength, and wear resistance. Ferromanganes is necessary for the processes of alloying, desulfurization, "deoxidation" of steels.
In non-ferrous metallurgy, it is included in the composition of iron - free alloys, in bronze, brass, most aluminum and magnesium alloys to improve their strength and resistance to corrosion.
It is used in the manufacture of an alloy of manganese, copper and nickel, characterized by high resistance. This alloy is in demand in electrical engineering
